Public Education

ACLU of Kansas and Western Missouri's communication and public outreach efforts use a variety of channels to get the word out about important issues. We post news and updates about critical issues affecting our community on our website, Facebook and Twitter, and update interested residents through our newsletter and action alerts.

When citizens want to get involved and take action on issues of concern, we help them organize and our communications department facilitates and supports their involvement.

A primary goal of the ACLU Foundation of Kansas and Western Missouri is to educate members of the public about their rights and freedoms, as well as to promote and enhance educational programs across Kansas and Missouri. We offer, among other things: events, manuals, trainings, award programs, and youth development.
