Gary Brunk
Please Welcome Gary Brunk, the ACLU of Kansas and Western Missouri's
new Executive Director!
Gary began his role as Executive Director at the ACLU on June 1. He brings extensive management, advocacy and development experience to the job, coming off a 14-year stint as Executive Director of Kansas Action for Children. Under his leadership, Kansas Action for Children grew from a 2-person, $90,000 non-profit to a 10-person, $1.5 million influential advocate for children in Kansas. Before that, Gary was Executive Director of Corporation for Change, a quasi-governmental organization created by the Kansas Legislature. He previously held jobs in the non-profit sector in Kansas and Wisconsin, and began his career as a caseworker in Philadelphia. He holds a B.A. in History from Bluffton College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas. You can reach Gary at gbrunk@aclukswmo.org.
